Tiling Cements
Chemical Resistant Bedding & Jointing Cements
We offer two main types of tiling cements at John Lord; Rizistal Grade 'R12' Cement and Rizistal WF Furane Resin Cement.
Rizistal Grade 'R12' Cement is an epoxy-resin based cement, ideal for bedding and jointing chemical-resisting bricks and tiles. Supplied in a 3 part pack, it has excellent adhesion to all types of bricks and ceramics, and to concrete and steel. Rizistal Grade Cement is impervious to moisture and unaffected by a range of acids, alkalis and solvents.
Rizistal 'WF' Furane Cement is a two-part, chemically-setting furane resin mortar based on Furfuryl alcohol. It has a wide field of application but is primarily for use as a bedding and jointing compound in the installation of acid-proof bricks and tiles. WF Furane Cement offers exceptional resistance to practically all non-oxidising acids, alkalis, salts, solvents, fats and detergents. It also offers resistance to high temperature spillages.
