John L Lord & Son Ltd are widely renowned as the UK's leading specialist commercial flooring company.

 In 2001, Canal Engineering Ltd became a part of the John Lord Group. 

Established in Nottingham in 1924, Canal has vast experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke stainless steel products.  They have gained a reputation amongst their high-profile client base for innovative, custom-designed architectural commissions including staircases, balustrading and signage.  Canal also produce the 'Aspen Range' of stainless steel drainage, stainless steel kerbing and stainless steel protection systems, used in coordination with the John Lord Resin Flooring range.

In 2008, SLS Design Consultants Ltd was formed and became a part of the John Lord Group.  

Managed by an experienced team of professionals, SLS provide a civil and structural engineering consultancy service to clients throughout the UK and Ireland.  Having already developed an impressive client portfolio from a wide range of industry sectors, their aim is to continue to provide quality, innovative solutions to architectural and building services design.
